A Chinese restaurant in town loved by the locals. As the specialty of Gyoza dumplings are superb, delicious with secret homemade sauce.
Other dishes such as meat balls and fried rice will surely give you stamina and make your trip more enjoyable.

In the surrounding area, you can enjoy many places with profound nature and history that are different from familiar sightseeing spots. Lake Hana-no-ko with magnificent scenery. Magome, which seems to have preserved the old inns as they were before Civilization and Enlightenment ("bunmei kaika”).
Tsukechi Gorge, with its pristine virgin forests and clear streams where is known as one of the healing spot in Japan. Ruins of Iwamura Castle, one of the three great mountain castles in Japan, also known as “Kasumigajo" castle or “the misty castle”.
Driving north, you will find a mountainous region representing Japan with rich expressions throughout the four seasons.
